Submersible pumps are primarily used in farmland irrigation, water supply system for people and livestock, as well as cooling system of central air conditioner, hot pumping units, cold pumping units, and water discharge in cities, factories, railroads, mines and construction sites.
Experts analyzed the mechanical structures of submersible pumps and found the following structures:
Submersible motor-pump’s components: water pump, submersible motor including cables, water delivery pipes, control switch, four main parts in total. The submersible pump is single suction multistage vertical centrifugal pump. Its submersible motor is enclosed, water-filled, wet, vertical three-phase squirrel cage asynchronous motor. It is connected with the pump directly by finger-type coupling or single key cylinder type coupling. It is equipped with three-core cable of different specifications. Air switch for different grades of volume and self-coupling pressure reduction pneumatic device serve as the starting equipment. Water deliver pipes are made of steel pipes of different diameters, connected by means of flange. High lift motor-pump is controlled by brake valves.
A labyrinth type sands control device and two reversely assembled framework oil sealings are installed on the shaft of the submersible motor to prevent sands from entering into the motor. The bearing of the submersible motor is lubricated by water. It has a pressure regulating chamber at bottom, consisting of a rubber membrane and a pressure regulating spring, to adjust pressure according to temperature.
Thanks to the above mechanical structures of submersible pump, it can pull water underground up from deep wells and provide it for people’s daily life, cooling in industrial projects, farmland irrigation, ship load adjustment, fountain features. The pump can also be used for emergency in mines, to life sea water, in water acquiring projects in rivers, reservoirs, water channels, etc. Hot water submersible pump is used for hot spring bath.
