Submersible fountain pumps

Some type of fountain pumps are also submersible pumps. They are made of special structure for the sake of fountain features.

The motor winding is made of water-proof nylon-sheath electromagnetic wire, insulated by polyethylene. To join two cables, we strip off the insulation layer of the cable ends, scrap off the paints, and then twist the cable ends together, weld them soundly as a whole, wrap it all over with raw rubber once as the first layer, with water-proof sticky adhesive tape twice or three times, and with water-proof rubberized-fabric twice or three times, or paste some glue on it and cover it under a layer of rubber, inner tube of a bicycle, for instance, to prevent water seepage. That is a special technique of joining cables.

Each stage of flow guide case in submersible pump has a rubber bearing inside. The impeller is fixed on pump shaft by vertebral shape sheath. At the top of the motor are a water injection port and an air outlet port, as the bottom a water discharge port. Up and down thrust bearings are installed at the lower part of the motor. They are grooved for the sake of cooling. A stainless steel thrust plate grinds against them, taking the upward and downward axial force of the water pump.
