1. A double-end mechanical sealing is installed between the motor and the head of pump. For submersible sewage pump with high power, such as big flow ones, we can install two single end mechanical sealing in series. Sealing material includes tungsten carbide, silicon carbide, tungsten carbide vice, super wear-resistant sealing, graphite, etc.
2. Submersible sewage pump with power over 15KW has a cooling system inside. The back blade of impeller makes water in spiral chamber flow around the stator chamber for recycle and cooling, so that the pump can work normally when the water in the pool drops to the lowest level or when the pool is drained. The wiring chamber has an oil-water probe. If the main cable or control cable breaks, or water leakages happen, the probe will send out a signal to the control system to protect the pump.
3. The mechanical sealing can be cooled and lubricated in oil chamber. The oil chamber also separates motor chamber from the pump part. It has electrode protection device, i. e. oil-water probe. The electrode sends out a signal when the fluids being pumped enter the oil chamber. That will be displayed on control system, indicating the supervisor to maintain it timely. At the same time, the control system will closely supervise the pump for leakage.
4. A water leakage detector or float switch is installed at the bottom of the motor chamber. When the fluids being pumped enter the motor chamber, the switch will send out a signal to the control system for it to protect the pump.
5. Motor stator insulation class is F. It has over-heating protection device inside. Another over-heating protection device is installed at the installation part of the bearing. The protection devices can prevent the motor from over-heating and over-load, and protect the bearing from over-heating, etc.
6. Submersible sewage pumps also have other protection device, such as over load protection device, default phase protection device, leakage protection device, over temperature protection device, etc.
