Operating maintenance of sewage pump

Sewage pump can be divided into dry sewage pump and submersible sewage pump, the difference of which is if the pump need be put into the water.

Operating maintenance of dry sewage pump

① Check and calibrate pressure gauge and vacuum gauge annually and check pipelines and connection fittings at the same time.

② Temperature of bearings of pump and motor should be no more than the maximum temperature allowed.

③ In the operating process, pay attention to motor current value at any time. If find there is vibration and noise, stop the pump and repair it.

④ Check foundation bolts of coupling and machine regularly.

Operating maintenance of submersible pump

① Before starting the pump, check if the impeller rotates flexibly and if the oil chamber has oil. Rotate direction should be correct after electrify.

② Check if the cable is damaged or broken and if the inlet seal of connector cable is complete.

③ It is prohibited to use cable as messenger wire to avoid causing accident.

④ Check resistance insulation of motor regularly, which should be no less than specified value and check if pump grounding is reliable at the same time.

⑤ Submersible sewage pump should be run into the clear water for a few minutes after stop using.

⑥ Seal between impeller and pump body should not be damaged and clearance should be no more than specified value or change sealing ring.

⑦ After running for half a year, sealing condition of oil chamber should be always checked. If there is any abnormal conditions, change it timely.

⑧ Do not remove pump parts casually and do not beat parts if need remove the parts to avoid damaging seal parts.
