Large submersible electric pump operations notes

Large submersible electric pumping unit is a electric drainage and irrigation equipment that integrates the pump and three-phase asynchronous motor. It is well sealed to prevent water. It is small in size, light in weight, needing neither pumping house nor priming water, very convenient to maintain and manage.

Large submersible electric pump working conditions:

1) The submersible electric pump should not be immersed deeper than 5m under water.

2) Water temperature should not be higher than 40 centigrade degree.

3) The water should not contain more than 0.1% sands. The volume ratio of solid grains insoluble in water it contains should not be higher than 0.1%, grain size no larger than 0.2mm.

4) The water shall be non-corrosive, PH value 6.5~8, same as common clear water at room temperature, well water, river water or lake water for example.

Large submersible electric pump operation notes

1) The regulations and performance of submersible electric pump should be in accordance to the practical working conditions. Please check it carefully before using it.

2) The inner diameter of water outlet pipe equipped with the submersible electric pump should match the diameter of pump outlet.

3) The power capacity should be above 5.5 kilovolt-ampere, three-phase, 380V, AC, 50HZ.

4) The electric pump should be equipped with protection switch for its motor (offered by the factory). The action current of the protection switch has been set. Users should not change it by themselves.

5) Never pull the cable of the electric pump with force at any time. Check the cable thoroughly before using it. Replace it with a new one before usage if you find any part of it is damaged.

6) The voltage is allowed to change between 342V and 418V. If the electric pump has to be used far from the power source, you should make the guide wire relatively thicker.

7) One of the outgoing cables has a ground symbol. Its core is in yellow and green. This cable must be connected to the ground wire. If there is not fixed ground wire, you can take a 2m long metal stick, bury it on the bank of river, lake, ditch, or somewhere with damp soil, and use it as ground wire.
