Install the mine submersible pump on the second floor of installation platform according to drainage method. Weight of the unit is born by support girder at the mouth of the well and joist steel. The main drainage pipeline does not bear any weight;
Installation method is usually applied to normal conditions: submersible electric pump for mine construction design, drainage system, etc;
Submersible electric pump unit is put down to the required position to drain water and its weight is born by the lifting pipe.
Installation method is usually applied to mine emergency rescue drainage and mine recovery production drainage.
For drainage at shallow shaft bottom or no shaft bottom in mine and mine recovery production drainage, we suggest to increase relay submersible pumps. Upper end of the relay pump will be connected with suction hood and relay pump will feed water to submersible pump unit to minimize the depth of drainage depth.
Horizontal spacing between pumps should be considered when undertake the plan of one well multi pump to lowest the mutual hydraulic interference when all pumps are started.
② Horizontal and tilt installation
Horizontal electric pump unit has the advantages of easy installation, easy lifting and small water warehouse construction. Combined with horizontal pump truck and roller, it can drain water quickly.
These installation methods can be applied to mine main drainage, track installation emergency drainage and oblique mines with no pathway for water drainage when the mine resumes production.
Main drainage: as main drainage equipment, submersible electric pump covers a small area and roadway construction is small. Submersible pump unit can be installed by clamp roller or base support combined with pump truck. The pump is installed at sump pump position of connection roadway under the well, saving pump station. Water distribution valve should be set at water distribution drift connecting pump station and sump. Water inlets should be staggered when several pumps are installed. Track installation emergency drainage: submersible electric pump unit is put down to the shaft bottom through the track and complete water drainage once. Pump-carrying unit can move quickly in roadway and is equipped with pipe connecting device. With the change of water level and water yield, submersible electric pump adjusts the position quickly to shorten water drainage time. There is little requirement for lifting device.
Emergency rescue in mine with no pathways and water drainage in mine when it resumes production
For old and waste mines with no pathways, where large submersible water pump cannot be installed inside, we can use comprehensive water discharge system that consists submersible electric pump, suction shield, pressure-resisting soft tube and relay pump. The relay pump is separated from the main drainage pump. The relay pump can be hold above the pontoon and feed water to the main drainage pump through soft tube during work. It is easy to move and maintain the relay pump by holding it above the pontoon, preventing slurry, sands and other impurities from being drawn into the pump. We should choose a way of water drainage that is convenient for water drainage, maintenance and laying the pathway, and drain all the water in the mine.
Water drainage in strip mines
The submersible electric pumping unit is installed and fixed on the point of drainage directly, suitable for normal water drainage or water drainage for rescue in emergency; or installed by hanging it below the floating body, suitable for drainage in industrial mines with large amount water stored inside.
