Care and maintenance of stainless steel pump

(1) Check if there is any loose phenomenon on stainless steel submersible pumps, pipeline and joint. Turn stainless steel submersible pumps by hand to check if it is flexible.

(2) Add lubricating oil into bearing body and oil level should be at the center line of the oil standard. Lubricating oil should be changed or added timely.

(3) Unscrew water diversion plug of pump body to pour water (or paste).

(4) Close gate valve of rising pipe, delivery gauge and imported vacuum gauge.

(5) Start motor to check if motor’s rotary direction is correct.

(6) Start motor and open delivery gauge and imported vacuum gauge after normal operation of stainless steel pump. When it shows appropriate pressure, open gate valve gradually and check motor load condition.

(7) Control the flow and head of the pump to be in the scope marked on nameplate to ensure that the pump operates at the maximum efficiency point, which will get the biggest energy saving effect.

(8) In operation process, bearing temperature of stainless steel submersible pumps should be no more than 35℃ of ambient temperature and the highest temperature should be no more than 80℃.

(9) If there is any abnormal sound on the pump, the pump should be stopped immediately to check the reason.

(10) When stop the operation of stainless steel pump, gate valve and delivery gauge should be closed first and then stop the motor.

(11) Stainless steel pump should be changed lubricant oil for every 100 hours in the first month of operation. After this, the pump should be changed oil for every 500 hours.

(12) Adjust packing gland frequently to ensure the normal drip situation in packing room (drip out by drop as appropriate).

(13) Check the wear of shaft sleeve regularly and change the damaged shaft sleeve timely.

(14) If stainless steel pump is used in winter, unscrew drain plug at the lower part of pump body and discharge medium clearly after stop the car to prevent frost crack.

(15) If stainless steel pump is stopped for a long time, the pump should be taken apart totally and dry the water; rotating parts and joints should be coated with grease and kept properly.
