The answer is NO.
The designed ideal lift of sewage pump is called design conditions lift in special terms in the pump industry. Today we are mainly sharing the consequences of selecting sewage pump with too high lift, intending to remind the old and new customers of WEL that when you select a sewage pump, do not take it for granted that the higher the lift, the better the effect.
In our business practice, we often find customers who select a sewage pump with high design conditions lift (the designed ideal lift) but use it at low lift. They think the higher the lift, the better the effect, a mistake many of them are apt to make. That is not the fact.
Case No. 1: when selecting a sewage pump, some customers prefer high lift ones, but use it at low lift in practice.
Case No. 2: it is not easy to make sure the design conditions lift of the sewage pump, or in common words, the flow of the sewage pump needs to be adjusted quite often.
Case No. 3: Some sewage pumps are not used in one fixed location, but need to be removed frequently.
All the three cases above are apt to make the sewage pump work overload, influencing its reliability. In conclusion, when selecting sewage pumps, it is not true that the higher lift the better.
