Deep well pump operating procedure

1. Before using this product, please read the user manual carefully.

2. Before starting the submersible electric pump, close three fourths of the valve, leaving one fourth of it open. Open the valve gradually after the pump has been started.

3. The motor must be equipped with a starting cabinet. This starting cabinet can protect the motor against short-circuit, open-phase and overload, etc. The pumping unit can be started when it has been debugged. Remember to adjust the setting value for protective measures of the starting cabinet to appropriate position when the pump has been running normally.

4. Before putting the electric pump into a well, you must fill it with clean water. Keep the pump vertical when adding water into it, never horizontal, for fear of false water level that will lead to motor burnout because of water shortage.

5. When installing the electric pump, you must connect a short pipe to the pump. The motor should be able to rotate flexibly when it has been assembled with the pumping part. Tighten the screws on the coupler. And then hoist the whole equipment. Hoist it slowly to prevent breaking.

6. The diameter of the lifting pipe should match this pump, neither too large nor too small.

7. If the submersible electric pump is used on special occasions, not in deep wells, it must be soundly grounded to ensure safety.

8. There should be a time interval between starting the pump and stopping pump, at least 5 minutes.

9. The electric pump is strictly prohibited to run without water. People and livestock are strictly prohibited to get close to the working zone.

10. To prevent electric shock, the power source must be cut off during the course of maintenance. 

11. When putting the pump into the well, the cable should be fastened tightly on the lifting pipe, and fixed in the flange groove.
