Installation of wells submersible pumps

Checking on and preparation for wells submersible  pumps before installation

1.Inspect the well or borehole to see if its conditions are suitable for the pump, including well diameter, the quality and perpendicularity of its wall, its static water level, dynamic water level, water yield, water quality and so on. If its conditions are not suitable, we must take some measures before installation.

2.Check if the power supply unit and supply line can ensure that the pump operates normally.

3.Whether power voltage and frequency are suitable for pump operation.

4.Get familiar with installation guide. Newly dug water wells must be washed firstly to remove mud and sands from water before installation of electric submersible pumps.

5.Check if the electric circuit, control and protective device are reasonable, safe and reliable. 

6.Prepare all tools needed for installation, set up a triangular support and pendant chain (or other hoisting device). Make sure they are safe, reliable and convenient to use.

Installation

1.The pump and its motor are integrated into one. Take off its water strainer, loosen the screws on water injection hole and air-bleed hole, and fill the motor with clean water. Remember to fill it really full, not seem as full. Check the motor to see if any part of it leaks water. If found, adjust the rubber mat there and tighten the screws.

2.Check carefully if the cable and joint are broken or damaged. If so, repair timely.

3.The insulation resistance of the winding shall not be lower than 150V mge when measured by 500V Meg-ohmmeter.

4.Install the protective switch and starting equipment, and check if the motor is filled with water, tighten the screws on water injection hole and air-bleed hole. And then set up the wire-protected board and water strainer; make full preparation for installation in the well.

5.Install a short water pipe at the outlet of water pump, clamp it, and hoist it up to put it into the well. Make the clamp board sit on well platform.

6.Use another clamp board to hold the second water pipe, hoist the pipe to connect it with the flange of the first water pipe.

7.In the end, put on the well lid, bend pipe, brake valve, discharge pipe, etc.

8.Use rubber mat every time you connect the flange. Justify the mat, and then tighten each screw in diagonal line of the flange at the same time to prevent incline or water leakage.

9.The cable shall be fixed in the groove of the flange of the discharge pipe. Every section of the cable shall be fixed soundly with ropes. Be careful when you put the pump down into the well. Do not use the cable as a lifting rope, and never damage it.

10.If the pump gets stuck in the process of entering the well, work out a solution. Never try to push the pump down with force; otherwise it may be stuck forever.

11.It is strictly forbidden for people to enter the well even in case of large opening well.

12.Voltage meter, ampere meter and indicator light shall be installed appropriately on switchboard of the protection switch and starting equipment.
